Τον Απρίλιο του 2024, η Επιτροπή δρομολόγησε την ενδιάμεση ανασκόπηση του Σχεδίου Δράσης για την Ψηφιακή Εκπαίδευση (2021-2027). Η ανασκόπηση εξυπηρετεί δύο βασικούς στόχους: τον προβληματισμό αναφορικά με τα επιτεύγματα του Σχεδίου Δράσης και να τον προσδιορισμό νέων φιλοδοξιών για το μέλλον. Σχεδιάζουμε να οργανώσουμε ένα διαδικτυακό σεμινάριο κατά την πρώτη εβδομάδα του Σεπτεμβρίου για να ακούσουμε τις απόψεις σας σχετικά με τις δράσεις του Σχεδίου και τις μελλοντικές προκλήσεις που σχετίζονται με την ΕΕΚ. In April 2024, the Commission launched the mid-term review of the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027). The review serves two key objectives: to reflect on the Action Plan’s achievements and to set new ambitions for the future. We are planning to organise a webinar during the first week of September to hear your views on the actions of the Plan and on future challenges related to VET. More detailed information and the exact date will follow. Please also see below how you can submit your views in written form.
Some of the achievements of the Plan that relate to Vocational Education and Training (VET) are the following:
- Structured Dialogue with Member States on digital education and skills
- Ethical guidelines on the use of AI and data in teaching and learning for educators
- Update of the European Digital Competence Framework (DigComp 2.2) to include AI and data-related skills
- Council Recommendation on improving the provision of digital skills and competences in education and training, which encourages the development of advanced and specialist digital skills in VET, including on AI, deep tech and in other key capacity areas.
Your views are crucial to evaluate the Action Plan’s achievements related to VET, as well as to raise the future challenges to be addressed in the sector. In view of this, the Commission has launched a call for position papers to reflect on the impacts and achievements of the Action Plan thus far. Ideally, position papers provide input on the following guiding question: In your experience and expertise with the Digital Education Action Plan, what actions/policy areas have been effective in achieving their objective and which actions/policy areas should be strengthened in the next phase of its implementation?
